The names chosen for this new way to conceive decoration are, so far, seven well-known artists. However, Tres Tintas Barcelona’s main aim is to offer a bigger variety of artists and ideas as time goes by. Furthermore, these artists will also develop new designs for our new campaigns to come.
The seven artists that will start the project are:
1. Raphaël Garnier (France), is only a 25 years old video artist and graphic designer that works in the music and fashion business
2. Mario Hugo (EE.UU.), lives nowadays in New York, he’s an artist and old-school designer; he still creates with pencil and paper. The magazine Area2 described him as “one of the 100 more creative designers appeared in the last 5 years on the international scene”.
3. Christopher Jung y Tobias Wenig (Germany) are a creative pair with several awards achieved in their careers.
4. Kuroda Kiyoshi (Japan) had worked as an art director in several artistic projects and also worked in the advertisement business, CD’s and publications.
5. Andere Monjo (Spain) has been a designer along with Antonio Miró and has worked for brands such as Zara, Comité, Ted Baker and Jonathan Saunders. She won the Samsonite award in the design category and her work was showed in internationals meetings such as 100% Design and Wallace Space, among others.
6. Julia Pelletier (France) is an illustrator-designer with her own brand and a fashion boutique in Barcelona. She gets her work done by mixing the fashion world and the drawing world. She had lectured illustration classes in Paris and London, and nowadays is teaching silkscreen projects, textile impression and design in Barcelona.
7. Inocuo The Sign Studio (Spain) is made by three members from the graffiti, surf and skate culture, that experiment with the contemporary urban style and languages. Inocuo The Sign Studio has created textile designs for famous brands like Nike and Levi’s. They have also worked in the advertisement world for companies such as Volkswagen, Seat and Nissan. They have also work in projects for Budweiser, Estrella Damm and Pepsi and have collaborated in pretty much all Spanish music labels, in several tv stations and other companies such as Epson, Lego or Adidas.

Tres Tintas Barcelona
Tres Tintas Barcelona was born in 2004 as a direct heir from Papeles Pintados Aribau, a company founded in 1961. Without implying the disappearance of the original company, Tres Tintas Barcelona was created as an independent and new brand, directed by the Bermejo’s third generation.
Tres Tintas Barcelona has manufactured and distributed since its origins wallpapers created by well-known artists, such as Javier Mariscal, Enric Jardí, Sophie Leblanc, Izqui, Julieta Álvarez, Marta Hernández or Inocuothesign studio (Javi Gutiérrez, David Fernández and Txema Alguacil).
