The GHA’s Annual Sydney Home and Giving trade fair at the Sydney Showgrounds Homebush kicks of again this coming Saturday and runs through to Tuesday the 2nd March.

The event promises to be an important one for the retail trade in Australia as the event, coinciding with a competing Reed Gift fairs event, makes the 4 days among the most valuable time spent by retailers in defining their retailing plans and target market categories for at least the following 6 months.

Organised by the industry association GHA, for many years, the renamed Sydney Home and Giving Fair has been one of the biggest events in retailing in Australia.

This year’s gift fair is set for a big impact as the GHA have confirmed that they have sold out all space including the Howie Pavilion next door to the main exhibition center hall at the Sydney Showground and have a waiting list of exhibitors who would like space to exhibit.

GHA are continually finding ways to make the event great value. The home and giving fairs Interactive Planner makes it easy for retailers to plan their time at the fair introduced 2 years ago has been well received.

The 2010 Sydney Home and Giving fair theme is 1950’s in line with a lot of new retro design trends being introduced into home decor.
